Why do belly buttons even exist?

I just finished my last exam today! I am so relieved that it is over with. The last 3 days I’ve been studying my little brain to pieces. I’m not sure how much help it did me. My Biology exam was pretty hard for Biology. It seemed I studied for all the wrong things, and many of the questions were minimally related to what we did in class. But I think I wrote my way through it, and hopefully it won’t be too bad. My Math exam was hard, but only because we didn’t have enough time to finish it completely. I knew how to tackle all the content, but if I only had time I could have finished some of the questions. Today I had my physics exam. I figured that it would be the hardest of all 3 of my exams. Suprisingly, it wasn’t. It seemed like the easiest of all, and that was a good ending to exam week for me.

The question remains, will my marks be good enough for my university to leave my acceptance as-is? That’s what I’m worried about. I worry about a lot of things, even if there’s little reason to be worried. I think my marks should be okay, but there’s always that little nagging man in the back of my head telling me to worry about everything I shouldn’t be. You guys don’t really know him that well, so let’s put it this way: he pisses me off to the equivalence of Carrot Top.

So, I’m pretty much done with highschool now. That was it. I still have to go back in September for commencement, so perhaps that’s why I’m not really sad about leaving. I’ll be back to see the same faces then, but after that, I’ll probably never see many of these people again. I think I’ll think about that stuff when time comes. The four years went by pretty quickly, yet at the same time it feels like more than 4 years when I first stepped into highschool. Four years ago I entered confused & wreckless and now I leave with my head on a little straighter. Yet hardly any of my changes have to do with my highschool experience.

While I studied for exams, I kind of got distracted. There was a digital camera in my presence, so I had a good reason to be. So I guess I kind of have a summary of the last week in picture form – just in case you guys were wondering what I was doing during that time (unlikely, but I’m going to show you anyway becauses I can).

Aw, little birday! I and II – As I was studying outside on my balcony, I saw a robin fly below. At first I thought the bird got into a wrestle with a squirrel or otherwise the bird somehow got very filthy (note the look of the greasy and stringy feathers), but I was later informed that this was a baby robin. I’m still not sure about that. It looks like it’s a little older than the ‘baby’ stage. But then again, I don’t know anything about robin stages.

Ohhhh Noooes! – I was again studying on my balcony, and I kept noticing a wasp flying under one of the tables. Upon further inspection, I noticed that there was a nest forming. So I snapped it. I actually really like this picture. No matter what kind of creature you look at, there always seems to be some sort of beauty in it. The combs look like they have peanut butter in them!

Mourning Dove? – I’m not sure what this is but I think it’s a mourning dove by the spots on it’s wings and the look of it’s eyes. My dad found it in a tree, so I went to go take a look. I took this picture a couple of days ago. Today I went back to check it again and try to take a better shot. As I was zooming in on the fella, he got scared by the camera and flew out at me. He literally attacked me! The nerve! If it weren’t for my quick thinking, I probably would have been pecked to death. I did not not just exaggerate.

Ew! Moth. So yeah, I take my other comment back. This is one creature that doesn’t have any beauty… Maybe the patterns on it’s back, if anything? But overall: 1/10.

Wait…why am I giving them ratings now? Who am I?

Handy – As I studied for Physics, I decided to draw on my hand – and that became my first drawing for the summer. But the main reason I took that picture is because of the distance from my thumb to pinky….I’ll explain in a nice long blog tomorrow.

Bunneh, Babeh!…Yesterday Afternoon and This Morning – Probably the highlight of my week (which is kind of sad, but if you hear me out: I had exams all week so how highlighted can a week get?). Actually, bunny’s are cool. I’m proud that this is the highlight of my week. Both yesterday and today, the bunny showed up by our hedge. So cute! We don’t usually get bunnies around here, so the chance that I see it twice in two days is nice. But I’m worried that someone’s going to hit it with their car. We get a lot of road kill.
Hopefully it stays and lives in my backyard for eternity.

I really had a lot more hope for that Picture Timeline. I had more pictures, but I don’t feel like uploading more right now. It’s 2am and I’m tired. I want to post this silly blog right now because then it will at least seem like I wrote it today (yesterday). If I post it when I wake up it will be “yesterday” that I wrote it all. And then I’ll have go through and change all of the text to say “my exams ended yesterday” and whatnot. And that’s just uncool, man, that’s just uncool.
